Photo Reminder shows you photos and videos taken on exactly this day in past years — your own personal "On This Day", delivered as a morning notification.
Open the app to browse memories grouped by year: a birthday from three years ago, a trip from five years back, a quiet afternoon you had almost forgotten. Tap any photo to view it full-screen, pinch to zoom, or swipe between years.

Privacy policy
Everything stays on your device
Photo Reminder reads your photo library directly on-device to find memories.
No photos, videos, or metadata are ever copied, uploaded, or transmitted.
No account required
There is no sign-up, no login, and no user profile of any kind.
We have no way to identify you.
No analytics or tracking
The app contains zero third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, or crash reporting.
We do not collect any usage data.
No internet connection required
The app works fully offline. It never makes network requests.
Location data
If a photo contains GPS coordinates in its EXIF data, the app reads those coordinates
to display the location in the detail view. This data is never stored separately
or transmitted anywhere.
Photo library access
The app requests read-only access to your photo library solely to find photos
taken on this day in past years. It never modifies, deletes, or exports your photos.
