Photo Reminder — iOS App

← Back to Support

Overview

Photo Reminder is built on a single principle: your data belongs to you. The app runs entirely on your device and does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.

This policy describes what data the app accesses and how it is used.

Data we do not collect

Photo library access

The app requests read-only access to your photo library. This access is used solely to find photos and videos taken on this day in past years and display them inside the app.

The app never modifies, deletes, copies, or exports your photos. No photos or photo metadata leave your device.

Location data

Some photos contain GPS coordinates in their EXIF metadata. The app reads these coordinates to display the location where a photo was taken in the detail view.

This location data is read directly from the photo file on your device. It is never stored separately, never transmitted, and never used for any purpose other than display.

The app does not request access to your device's current location.

Notifications

If you grant notification permission, the app schedules a daily local notification at a time you choose. This is a local notification — no data is sent to any server to deliver it.

Third-party services

The app does not integrate any third-party SDKs, frameworks, or services. There are no advertising networks, analytics providers, or social login systems.

Children's privacy

The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. No personal data is collected at any age.

Changes to this policy

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
